Sorry that the club has not had anything new for a while. I guess we are all caught up in the day to day activities of real life, but, we are still as dedicated as ever in our goal of breeding future champions!
Some of us have had personal problems this year, mostly due to the economy, so things are quiet on the homefront. Spring was full of weird and wet weather, at least here in Colorado, and breeding has been slow.
I am in search of a buff rooster for next year, as I hatched no one buff chick this year.
Blue and Black did well here, and hatched a few surprise partridge and grey chicks that were quickly sold. I have one new mystery splash chick, that I should not have but I do.
We could really use potential state and special meets to list on the site. If you plan on showing someplace, contact me to get it on the list and we can get you some points! ANY SHOW can be a special meet, and all meets get you points if you place. Gather all show results you can!
Also I can add a gallery page for everyone as a breeder, all you have to do is e-mail me the pictures you want in the gallery and I will add it with your name or farm name, etc.
Lets get ready for show season!- Cara- Club President.

Happy Holidays!
Time sure flys. We have some new club members and show season is almost at an end in most areas. Some of us are still crazy enough to drive around and are heading to the Shawnee, OK show in December. Who could not resist going to a show with so many good quality Silkie's due to show up! It is the ASBC's National and it should be a great event.
The new officers are working more than a lil over time making some much needed changes and we are happy for the ASBC.
There are some ignorant people out there who think they actually know something and say the NSBA as if it is a slur. All we can say to you is grow up!
NSBA club members are picking out shows for different meets and ironing out the 2009 Nationals. We have a new member bio page by Amy Piehl and is it ever a great read. Her picture surrounded by her beautiful birds is great. Updating the pages on the site is a work in progress, keep checking back to look it over.

Hello!
The site address is unchanged as we own it, but we did move it to a new company and are taking advantage of the freewebs service as the other company increased its monthly fee. So for a few days the site will be in a bit of libo as we get it up and running!
Thanks for your patience!
